I’ve been driving the same car for a week 12 years at this point.
My parents got it for me right when I graduated from high school and it’s been a great car for me.
I really enjoy this car and I never imagined that I would have to get a new one, but I think today might have come. Last week when I got in my car I noticed that the air conditioning wasn’t working anymore. So I took my car into a local HVAC mechanic store to see if he could help me fix the issue. The HVAC technician that was working on my car told me he didn’t think it would be worth it for me to replace the entire HVAC system in my car since the car was so old. After talking with the HVAC technician for a while he told me it would be a couple thousand dollars for me to replace the entire HVAC system in my car. I had to agree with him when he told me this because I also didn’t think it was worth it to spend that much money on fixing my car when it was sold. So I think I’m going to have to buy a brand new car. I’m not really in a spot financially where I can afford a new car, but I also don’t think it’s worth it to put money into a car that is so old but I’m going to have to buy a new one eventually. Hopefully in my new car I will be able to get a brand new heating and cooling system so I won’t have to worry about this in the future.
