Pretty much, candle season is just about over in our home.
But during the holiday season, you wouldn’t think the show my buddy and I get in our home thanks to my wife.
I know burning lots of candles inside the central a/c of their home was a thing with my wife’s family. But she took that tradition plus genuinely took it to another level. There are so many candles burning during the holiday season that I have to change the Heating plus A/C air filter almost yearly. If I don’t change the air filter for the Heating plus A/C unit that often, it will literally get choked out. So my wife is burning maybe between 50 plus 75 candles everyday for nearly 3 months. My buddy and I happen to live in the south but not so far south that my buddy and I don’t have any winter. For sure, it’s not the sort of winter season where you need a gas boiler or a boiler just to survive. But the heat pump is on quite consistently to provide the heating that my buddy and I need. My wife likes the cozy feeling that all those candles bring plus I have to agree. But when you burn that number of candles for that long plus on a yearly basis, that has a lot of burnt wax in the air. I learned the hard way that all that burnt wax gets sucked straight to the Heating plus A/C return. Of course that has where the air filter for the Heating plus A/C unit sits. So all of that wax ends up coating the air filter plus not allowing the correct airflow. That means the week before thanksgiving, I am off to the store to get a case of Heating plus A/C air filters.
