Inexpensive Heating plus A/C upgrade improves air quality

I’m so glad that I paid attention to my body, however normally, I tend to just keep on plowing ahead with life even when I feel bad.

That’s something I’ve genuinely got to stop doing now that I’m getting older.

Along with being less sedentary plus getting out of the central a/c for more fresh air, I wanted great air quality inside as well. I learned a bit about indoor air quality during the pandemic but never genuinely did anything about it at the time. It was all I could do to maintain my sanity while I was all cooped up working from home instead of the zone controlled Heating plus A/C of the office. But a recent cold genuinely changed things for me. I am great for getting some sort of cold virus every other year or so. But this fall, I caught a cold that I just couldn’t seem to get rid of. After 3 or 4 afternoons, I felt much better but I just couldn’t get rid of a nagging cough. So I plowed ahead for a bit longer before finally going to see the doctor. I was surprised that I did not just get a prescription but instead got a suggestion for better indoor air quality, and my doctor advocated that I first call the Heating plus A/C supplier to get ductwork cleaning plus ductwork resealing. Once these Heating plus A/C services were complete, my doctor advocated that I replace my outdated air filters for the Heating plus A/C with a HEPA filter. The HEPA filter genuinely removes more than 99 percent of all airborne contaminants. I did just what she advocated plus not only did my respiratory symptoms fall away, the indoor air quality in our home has seriously improved. All it took was a few extra dollars spent on a HEPA filter.
