I am constantly trying to keep my partner away from our indoor air handling devices.
There’s not much that I can do because he has an iron will power.
No matter how often I try to deter him from touching any of our indoor appliances it seems like he is more determined to mess with the air quality control devices. It all started at least 10 years ago when he managed to correctly service an A/C window unit. At the time, my pal and I had a legitimately cheap cooling system that my pal and I bought second-hand from a family friend. There was not legitimately high stakes in the cooling system service or continuing functionality. As such, I thought it was no big deal for my then-bestie to mess around with the cooling system unit for a while. Unfortunately, this has equipped him with a lifelong hubris over his indoor air handling unit problemshooting and service skills. Recently, this has become a problem with our central a/c, then of course, our central cooling system unit is a lot more lavish and that A/C window unit ever was. This doesn’t stop my partner from trying to fiddle with the lavish air handling equipment on his own; Last year I came house and found that he finally got his paws on the cooling system. It was easy to tell because our cooling system unit was broken into a million pieces in the backyard. Meanwhile, my partner was kneeling inside looking like a mess. Apparently, he was promptly electrocuted when he tried to fiddle with the A/C this time. I still doubt he learned his lesson.
