Being a mom is so much fun.
I used to be a very stressed out person, but surprisingly enough, being a mom has made me so much more calm than what I used to be.
Most people say that parenting makes them more stressed because of the wait of responsibility, and I totally understand where they are coming from. For me, it has actually had the opposite effect because I do not want my children to grow up and worry all the time. Although I do not worry as much, my children definitely do things that make me worried at times. My seven month old daughter has started throwing things, and I do not know where she got her arm from because she can throw things super hard. She has hit me in the face multiple times, and I have a huge bruise from her hitting me with a wooden toy right in the nose. She threw a toy at my dehumidifier the other day, and somehow she managed to break it. I am not sure if the dehumidifer already has a crack in it or what because I cannot believe that she threw a toy hard enough to break a big piece of plastic off of the front of my dehumidifier. The dehumidifier still works, but it is not the same. Some of the buttons are broken off, and it is really hard to empty now because of the chunk of plastic that is now missing. I told my husband about it, and he did not believe me at first. He thought that I was joking. I guess our daughter has some sort of super strength.
