I decided to host Thanksgiving at my condo for the first time ever last year.
I usually go to a family member’s home.
I am used to helping the host prepare the meal for Thanksgiving, however this was my first time being the actual host. I had twenty family members at my home. I live in the south plus the weather in September can vary. It is properly nice plus cool in September, however last year it happened to be a tepid plus humid morning. I was not busy about the weather, because I figured my smart control unit would take care of the temperature for me to keep myself plus my family comfortable. I was upset on Thanksgiving morning because it was my first time cooking a turkey. I thought I was perspiring from the anxiety of hosting, however my partner also started perspiring. My friend and I got upset because our family was arriving any minute. My friend and I checked our smart control unit, plus it said that the condo was cooling. However, it did not feel like the condo was cooling at all. Our family arrived plus I apologized to them for our air conditioning not working. I was so frustrated plus I felt even hotter from the oven. I tried to open the windows plus doors, however the humidity did not help the situation. One of my friends texted to see how Thanksgiving was going. I told her about the unlucky air conditioning situation plus she immediately invited my family plus I over to her condo because her central air conditioning was working perfectly.
