I totally agree that it would be agitated for the air conditioning to stop laboring in your home on the hottest afternoon of the Summer where my superb friend and I live, and opening the windows is not an option to cool down in the Summer here. The second most official answer was at work. I can also agree with this response because I have had this happen to me at work. There are several times the air conditioning stopped laboring in my classroom that has no windows. It was impossible to teach when I was hot with no air conditioning.
