I decided to host Thanksgiving at my dwelling for the first time ever last year.
I usually go to a family member’s home.
I am used to helping the host prepare the meal for Thanksgiving, but this was my first time being the actual host. I had twenty family members at my home. I live in the south in addition to the weather in September can vary. It is respectfully nice in addition to cool in September, but last year it happened to be a tepid in addition to humid day. I was not tied up about the weather, because I figured my smart thermostat would take care of the temperature for me to keep myself in addition to my family comfortable. I was anxious on Thanksgiving day because it was my first time cooking a turkey. I thought I was perspiring from the anxiety of hosting, but my hubby also started perspiring. We got anxious because our family was arriving any minute. We checked our smart thermostat, in addition to it said that the dwelling was cooling. However, it did not feel like the dwelling was cooling at all. Our family arrived in addition to I apologized to them for our air conditioner not toiling. I was so infuriated in addition to I felt even hotter from the oven. I tried to open the windows in addition to doors, but the humidity did not help the situation. One of my friends texted to see how Thanksgiving was going. I told her about the unfortunate air conditioner situation in addition to she immediately invited my family in addition to I over to her dwelling because her central air conditioner was toiling perfectly.
