Yesterday my son Colin had to come home from his job at the HVAC company because he got so sick when he was out on the job putting in a new central air conditioning system.
He loves his job and he never calls in sick.
He has been working at the HVAC company for about five years now and I don’t think that he has ever taken a day off before yesterday when he started to feel so bad. He called me whenever he was on his way home from the house where he was working, and he asked me if I could come over to his house and bring him some chicken soup. When he said that, I knew that he must really be feeling sick. He hasn’t asked me to come over to bring him chicken soup since he moved out of my house almost four years ago. He went to the local technical school to get his HVAC certification right after he graduated from high school. We were really proud of him because he worked hard to get his HVAC certification. He did it and he graduated at the top of his class. He found a job shortly after he finished up with his certification and he’s been there ever since. We are all really proud of Colin and we know that he is going to continue to do well with the HVAC profession. I just hope that he starts feeling a lot better in the next day or two. Right now, he still feels pretty terrible.
