When we made the decision to go to visit my uncle over the holidays I couldn’t help however notice that it got colder & colder the further north we drove.
I became truly grateful that I had packed up my winter season overcoat.
I needed it during the drive. The heating system doesn’t toil in our car… Normally, this isn’t a problem. However, the closer we got to our destination, the colder we became. My buddy and I both started truly looking forward to getting to my aunt’s home & warming up with the heater. However, when we got to the home it was chilly chilly inside. My uncle really had the a/c on! I couldn’t suppose it. It was 60 degrees outside & even colder than that inside. She provided no explanation. I mean, she had been cooking all day so maybe she was sizzling however we sure weren’t. My buddy and I aren’t used to the northern temperatures. Certainly not when the a/c is on. My girl & I stayed all bundled up in our heavy overcoats & provided every indication that we were chilly cold. Still, the a/c stayed on all night; Finally, it was time to go to bed however there were only two blankets on the bed. So I asked my uncle if there was a space heating system we could use. She seemed really confused as to how we could possibly be cold. Still, she found a space heating system & some more blankets for us. But that central a/c was never turned off throughout our entire trip. I don’t think we will be going to see my uncle again anytime soon.
