When I first opened my HVAC repair business, I didn’t know the first thing about being online.
It was 1995 and the internet was still very new.
I didn’t think it was necessary to have a website for my business. Now it’s almost 30 years later and I have a growing business that is constantly trying to stay up to date with the latest trends. A few years ago I hired a company to make a website for my HVAC repair business. I gave the graphic and web company a couple of ideas. They took a week to work on the website and then they sent me some mock home pages. I got to pick the home page that I liked the best and then the company used that information to create the rest of the website. When the job was done, the web graphics and design were better than I anticipated. I couldn’t believe they made the thing from scratch. It looked great. The design was close to exactly what I wanted and the graphics were even better. The colors on the website made it stand out and they perfectly matched the colors on the trucks that we are already using. Hiring the company to help me with the website turned out to be a great idea. I still have the web design team on staff and from time to time they help me out with search engine optimization, pay per click ads, and social media advertisements. I have all of the tools that I need now to run a successful business in 2025.
