Our thermostat always reminds me when it’s time to change the air filter in our HVAC unit and it’s a really good thing that’s the case, too.
Without that reminder, I don’t know if I would ever remember to change the air filters.
Changing air filters just really isn’t at the top of my list when it comes to doing things around the house. I have so many things going on these days that it’s hard to remember a lot of the routine things that I need to do around here. I guess it’s just one of those things that happens whenever you need to be in charge of your own home the way that I am now. Whenever I was growing up, my dad was the one in charge of everything at our house. However, since I’m not married, I am the woman in charge of the house, including the air filters, the HVAC system, and everything else you could possibly think of. I think that it’s good that I am a strong independent woman, but a lot of the time, things end up falling through the cracks because I’m the one trying to do it all by myself. I know that it’s a good thing that I’m capable of doing everything myself, but to tell you the truth, I can really use all of the help that I can get. That’s why I’m glad that the thermostat that I had installed tells me when it’s time to change the air filter! If I didn’t have that reminder, I would forget about it all the time.
