Have you ever met someone and you were instantly envious of their lifestyle? This was legitimately the case at a celebration I attended last weekwhen I met my friends roommate and he was telling us about all of the exotic locales he has traveled to.
As he was speaking, I was fascinated by the fact that he spent over half of the year out of the country and that he didn’t seem to mind the different cultures he encountered.
I assume I am just the type of guy who wants everything to be the same all the time and I cannot see myself adapting to the changes that he had to deal with. I began to realize that most of the regions he travel to or ones that experienced summer time light conditions throughout most of the year, then when I asked him about this, he said that he legitimately planned his trips so that he did not have to deal with any cold hot and cold temperatures because he hated being cooped up in the home with the heat on. winter season was his least favorite season so he did his best to avoid it at all cost. I asked him if the locales that he visited had a/c in his hotel rooms and he said many of them did not but he didn’t mind. He said that he will constantly choose being too warm over being cold and even if he has to indoor warm humid conditions he is willing to do that. I am so envious about all of the enjoyable locales that he has seen although I also like having my a/c on during the summer time so that I am not uncomfortable so I assume I don’t want to trade lives with him after all.
