One of the worst parts about winter time is having to take off all of your clothes & step into a cold, tile cave in order to maintain your bi-weekly hygiene, however during the winter time months, one can usually guess that the washroom will be the coldest at night & to prepare by turning on the hot water before stepping into the shower, but one of the most uncomfortable things to me is being chilly before a shower; In order to prevent this awful feeling & still maintain a clean & healthy lifestyle, I utilize a space furnace in my washroom prior to & during showers, then although the area where I live does not get terribly cold, it is nice to have the space furnace as an available option, however turning the space furnace on about 30 minutes prior to shower is the key to a comfortable & hot showering environment! Without the space heater, you are looking at a solid 10 minutes of wasting hot water while the tile & room hot up from the steam.

Do not get sidetracked & forget that the space furnace is warming the washroom for your shower, and using the time on your PC or oven can help you to remember that the space furnace is running… People often mistakenly leave their space boilers running & cause household fires. What you thought was going to be a hot shower can absolutely turn into a fiery inferno situation if you are not smart!
